Friends of the Santa Ana Public Library, welcome!!!
The Friends are volunteers that work in support of the Santa Ana Public Library. We hold book sales and other events to help raise funds. We take pride in the work we do in helping to fund the projects and equipment needed by the library that cannot be funded through the City budget.
The Friends are looking for volunteers to join us in planning, organizing and operating our book sales, as well as doing the ongoing work that takes place between book sales. We also would welcome new members to our regular meetings. The Friends meet every Wednesday in the basement of the Library from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to prepare for our book sales, sorting and boxing books that are donated by the public or no longer used by the library. You are welcome to drop in to help with this project at any time, or you may call the library at 714-647-5266 for more information about membership and meetings.
If you have a love for books and want to find a way to help our community, take this opportunity and join a great organization.
